Abstract
Rad obrađuje temu kulturoloških razlika u poslovnoj komunikaciji Azije i Sjeverne Amerike. Obuhvaća cjelokupnu poslovnu komunikaciju (verbalna i neverbalna). Objašnjava se potreba prilagođavanja i poznavanja različitih kultura s kojima se u svom poslovanju susreću poslovni ljudi. Prikazuje se i specifičnosti u komunikaciji odabranih zemalja Azije (Japan, Kina, Indija i Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati) i Sjeverne Amerike (SAD, Kanada i Meksiko). Analizom i komparacijom specifičnosti poslovne komunikacije odabranih zemalja Azije i Sjeverne Amerike prikazuju se još uvijek prisutne razlike Zapadnog i Istočnog komunikacijskog stila u poslovnoj komunikaciji.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the issue of cultural differences in business communication of Asia and North America. The entire business communication (verbal and nonverbal) is covered, explaining the need of adjustment and understanding of different cultures that business people are encountering with. The particularities in communication of selected countries of Asia (Japan, China, India and United Arab Emirates) and North America (USA, Canada and Mexico) are presented. Through analysis and comparison of the specific characteristics in business communication of selected countries of Asia and North America, this paper presents the fact that differences of western and eastern communication style in business are still present.
