Abstract
U ovom radu se prikazuju elementi cyber terorizma u tradicionalnim terorističkim skupinama na primjeru Al-Qaede. Pojava interneta dovela je do radikalnog zaokreta u funkcioniranju društva na svim razinama, pa tako i u funkcioniranju terorističkih organizacija. Promjene su vidljive u samoj strukturi organizacija. Al-Qaeda pokazuje naznake zamjene tradicionalne hijerarhijske strukture mrežnom, tipičnom za suvremene organizacije. Da bi uspješno nastavila ostvarivati svoje ciljeve, prilagođava se modernom društvu te mobilizira i educira svoje pripadnike putem internetske veze. Naoružane akcije terorista zamijenile su terorističke akcije pojedinaca koji su ideje i načine realizacije istih otkrili upravo na internetu. „Online“ je moguće pronaći izrazito velik broj podataka, zvučnih i video zapisa koje su u većini slučajeva postavili upravo članovi terorističkih organizacija, a pokazuju kako, na primjer, izraditi bombu, otrov ili počiniti otmicu. Al-Qaeda se nije potpuno transformirala u cyber terorističku skupinu, ali je preuzela pojedine obrasce djelovanja cyber terorističkih skupina.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents elements of cyber terrorism in the traditional terrorist groups which can be found in the example of Al-Qaeda. The emergence of the Internet has led to a radical change in the functioning of society at all levels, including the functioning of terrorist organizations. The changes are visible in the structure of the organization. Al-Qaeda shows signs of replacing the traditional hierarchical structure with the network structure, which is typical for modern organizations. In order to accomplish its goals in the future, Al-Qaeda adapts to modern society, mobilizes and educates its members through Internet network. Armed actions of terrorist groups were replaced by terrorist actions of individuals who found ideas and ways of implementing these ideas on the Internet. On the internet is possible to find an extremely large amount of data, audio and video clips that are mostly uploaded by terrorist group members. These files show, for example, how to make a bomb, how to make poison, or how to commit kidnapping. Al-Qaeda has not completely transformed into a cyber terrorist group yet, but has definitely taken certain forms of cyber terrorist group actions.
