Abstract
Ideja Lebensrauma jedan je od glavnih motiva zašto je Njemačka vođena Adolfom Hitlerom pokrenula Drugi svjetski rat. Rad se bavi načinima na koje je nacistički propagandni aparat ovu ideju uveo na velika vrata svakodnevnog diskursa prosječnog Nijemca. Prvi dio rada obuhvaća općeniti način funkcioniranja nacističkog propagandnog aparata, a drugi dio je posvećen konkretnim akcijama koje su nacistički propagandisti provodili kako bi Nijemce uvjerili u važnost širenja teritorija prema istoku. Obuhvaćeni su najvažniji argumenti koje su nacisti neumorno ponavljali kako bi svaki Nijemac podržao Hitlera i sudjelovao u velikim ratnim osvajanjima. Isto tako, rad prikazuje i propagandu te posljedice ovih osvajanja u okupiranoj Poljskoj.
Abstract (english)
The Idea of Lebensraum was one of the main motives why Germany started the World War II. This paper discusses the Nazi ways of spreading this idea within the German people. The first part of the paper shows the conformation of the whole propaganda system and the second part is dedicated to particular propaganda activities which convinced the German people that territorial expansion into Eastern Europe was of existential importance. This paper encompasses the most important arguments that were constantly repeated in order to convince every single German to support Hitler and approve the war conquests. Also, this paper discusses propaganda and its consequences in occupied Poland.
