Abstract
U ovome radu prikazana je talijanska neofašistička stranka MSI (Movimento sociale italiano) koja je najveća i najuspješnija poslijeratna neofašistička stranka na talijanskoj političkoj sceni. Rad je obuhvatio razvoj i uspon stranke od godine nastanka 1946. i njezine marginaliziranosti, preko političke i društvene legitimizacije, pa sve do danas. S obzirom na popularnost teme desnog ekstremizma danas u Europi, ova stranka je i danas predmet analize među autorima desnog radikalizma, posebice u Italiji. Literatura koja se bavi ovom strankom stavlja naglasak na analizu ideološkog, intelektualnog i političkog razvoja, kao i na uzroke uspješnosti MSI-a u vrhu talijanske politike. Rad daje uvid u političku strategiju stranke, njezino djelovanje i metode uspješne adaptacije fašizma u suvremenim uvjetima.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the Italian neo-fascist party MSI (Italian social movement), the largest and the most successful post-war neo-fascist party on the Italian political scene. The paper encompassed development and rise of the party since the year 1946 and its marginalization, through political and social legitimization up to the present. Due to the popularity of the issue of right extremism today in Europe, this party is still a subject of analysis among the authors of right-wing extremism, particularly in Italy. Literature which is dealing with this party puts an emphasis on the analysis of ideological, intellectual and political development, as well as on the causes of MSI's success in the top of the Italian politics. This paper gives an insight into the political strategy of the party, its activities and the methods of successful adaptation of fascism in modern contemporary conditions.
