Abstract
U ovom radu analiziran je modni sadržaj u hrvatskim izdanjima časopisa Cosmopolitan i Elle u 2017. godini. Cilj rada bio je ispitati kakav je modni sadržaj u časopisima, pojavljuju li se stereotipi te kakvu agendu postavljaju časopisi. U radu je analizirano 423 članka časopisa Elle i Cosmopolitan, od čega je 268 članak u Elleu, a 155 u Cosmopolitanu. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da Elle ima više modnog sadržaja nego Cosmopolitan kao što je pretpostavljeno. Istraživanje nije donijelo rezultate koji spominju seksizam usmjeren prema ženama. Međutim, iako Elle i Cosmopolitan svoj imidž temelje na naprednom razmišljanju, borbi protiv diskriminacije bilo koje vrste, u ovom istraživanju dobiveni su rezultati koji ističu diskriminaciju na temelju dobi, ageizam, u oba časopisa. U navedenim časopisima fizička obilježja starenja rijetko se pojavlju na grafikama.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the fashion content in the Croation editions of Cosmopolitan and Elle in 2017. The intetion was to explore what kind of fashion content is in the magazines, wheather the stereotypes appear and what kind of the agenda magazines are setting. The paper analyzes 423 articles in the Elle and Cosmopolitan magazines, of which 268 articles in Elle and 155 in Cosmopolitan. The results of the research have shown that Elle has more fashion content than Cosmopolitan as assumed. The research doesn't have the results which reflects on sexism against women. However, although Elle and Cosmopolitan have their image based on advanced thinking, the fight against discrimination of any kind, this research highlights the results of age-based discrimination in both magazines. In these journals, the physical features of aging rarely appear on the graphs.
