Abstract
Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je ustanoviti medijsku reprezentaciju Hrvatske nogometne lige u dnevnim novinama Jutarnji list i Večernji list u sezoni 2016./2017. Kao teorijska podloga korišteni su koncepti agende setting i framinga koji su uz prošle radove i istraživanja donijeli širinu koncepta i razumijevanja ispitivane tematike. Članci su analizirani metodom analize sadržaja kroz razdoblje od cijele jedne natjecateljske sezone. U navedenim dnevnim novinama prevladavaju pozitivni i neutralni članci, najzastupljeniji klub u člancima je Dinamo, dok je prisutna i visoka razina novinarske profesionalnosti po pitanju odabira fotografija i grafika, kao i potpisivanja samoga teksta. Ne mogu se pronaći prevelike zamjerke na strukturu i način izvještavanja o HNL-u u Jutarnjem listu i Večernjem listu, više je to pitanje određenih osobnih preferencija i želja, stoga se u konačnici može zaključiti kako navedene objektivne nedostatke domaćeg nogometa treba početi intenzivno mijenjati, a za očekivati je kako će ove dnevne tiskovine takve inicijative na kvalitetan način podržati objektivnim i nepristranim izvještavanjem.
Abstract (english)
Abstract: The main goal of this research was to identify media representation of Croatian football league in daily newspapers Jutarnji list and Večernji list in season 2016./2017. As a theoretical basis, there were used concepts of agenda setting and framing which, among other works and researches, gave depth to the concept and understanding of the topic. Articles were analyzed with the content analysis method through the period of one competitive season. In those daily newspapers results show that most articles are positive or neutral highlighted, Dinamo Zagreb is most frequently main topic among clubs and also there is a high level of journalistic professionalism in the matter of photos and graphics, as well in the naming of authors. There can’t be noticed some greater objections or errors in structure and style of the media representation in Jutarnji list and Večernji list, so in the end we can conclude that objective flaws of Croatian football need to be changed intensively, and it is to be expected that these newspapers will adequately support those initiatives with objective and unbiased representation.
