Abstract
U zdravstvenim ustanovama gužve i dugo vrijeme čekanja uobičajeni su i česti izazovi, koji terete i pacijente i zdravstveno osoblje. Potrebe za zdravstvenim uslugama su velike, a zdravstvenih radnika nema dovoljno, što dovodi do njihove preopterećenosti poslom i izazovima u pružanju zdravstvene skrbi pacijentima. Velik utjecaj na organizaciju i brzinu izvođenja aktivnosti unutar bolnice ima upravo unutarnji transport. U bolnicama su svakodnevno prisutni različiti tokovi materijala i ljudi koji su zahtjevni u pogledu potrebne brojnosti zdravstvenog osoblja. Suvremene tehnologije nude potencijalna rješenja kojima roboti i drugi tehnički sustavi preuzimaju neke aspekte tih tokova na sebe umjesto zdravstvenih radnika. Autonomni i pametni uređaji za transport sve su češća pojava u suvremenim bolnicama kao pomoć u prijevozu lijekova, opreme i ostalih potrepština ali i pacijenata. U ovom je radu stoga predstavljen koncept robota za transport pacijenata unutar bolnice koristeći mobilni robot OMRON LD-250 ESD kao autonomnu platformu. Autonomno kretanje, navigacija pomoću umjetne inteligencije i senzori za izbjegavanje prepreka, omogućili bi ovom robotu prijevoz pacijenata među odjelima bolnice bez asistencije osoblja. Također bi se pomoću s robotom integriranog ergonomskog sjedala Memory Line osigurala udobnost i sigurnost pacijenata tijekom prijevoza. Dodatno je predložen plan unutarnjeg transporta pacijenata za odabranu bolnicu u Hrvatskoj korištenjem navedenog autonomnog robota.
Abstract (english)
In healthcare institutions, overcrowding and long waiting times are common and frequent challenges, burdening both patients and healthcare staff. The demand for healthcare services is high, while there is a shortage of healthcare workers, leading to work overload and challenges in providing patient care. Internal transport has a significant impact on the organization and speed of activities within the hospital. Hospitals experience daily flows of materials and people that place high demands on the necessary number of healthcare staff. Modern technologies offer potential solutions where robots and other technical systems take over some aspects of these flows instead of healthcare workers. Autonomous and intelligent transport devices are increasingly common in modern hospitals, assisting in the transportation of medicines, equipment, supplies, and even patients. This paper presents a concept for patient transport within a hospital using the mobile robot OMRON LD-250 ESD as an autonomous platform. Autonomous movement, AI-based navigation, and obstacle-avoidance sensors would allow this robot to transport patients between hospital departments without staff assistance. Additionally, the integration of an ergonomic Memory Line seat with the robot would ensure comfort and safety for patients during transport. A plan for internal patient transport using the aforementioned autonomous robot has also been proposed for a selected hospital in Croatia.
