Abstract
U okviru ovog rada opisana je tehnologija lijevanja metala, s naglaskom na lijevanje aluminija i njegovih legura u pješčani kalup. Objašnjeni su dijelovi uljevnog sustava te su navedene i opisane najčešće greške koje mogu nastati na odljevcima. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada napravljen je proračun uljevnog sustava za tri različita vremena lijevanja te su prema proračunima konstruirani CAD modeli za svaki uljevni sustav. Na kraju su provedene računalne simulacije u softveru ProCAST te su uspoređeni rezultati za sve tri varijante.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the technology of metal casting, with an emphasis on the casting of aluminium and its alloys in sand moulds. The elements of the gating system were explained and the most common errors that can occur in castings were listed and described. In the experimental part of the paper, the calculation of the gating system for three different casting times was made and CAD models for each gating system were designed according to the calculations. Finally, computer simulations were performed in the ProCAST software and the results for all three variants were compared.
