Abstract
Zbog intermitentne prirode i mogućnosti rada samo tijekom dnevnih sati sve novo izgrađene solarne termoelektrane koriste tehnologiju pohrane toplinske energije. Zahvaljujući primjeni toplinskih spremnika, investiranje u solarne termoelektrane postaje sigurnije i investicijski opravdano. Toplinski spremnici omogućuju produljenje rada solarnih termoelektrana, osiguravaju stabilnost pogona i mogućnost proizvodnje prema zahtjevima potrošača. Toplinski spremnik omogućuje dugotrajniji rad termoelektrane kao i mogućnost pokrivanja vršnih opterećenja, a njihovom primjenom podiže se razina konkurentnosti solarnih termoelektrana naspram drugih tehnologija koje se baziraju na iskorištavanju obnovljivih izvora energije te naspram postrojenja koja koriste fosilna goriva. Zbog navedenog sve veći značaj posvećuje se razvijanju tehnologije pohrane toplinske energije, usavršavanju konstrukcijskih rješenja te unapređenju njihovih dinamičkih značajki ( specifičnim snagama punjenja i pražnjenja). Na temelju tehnologije pohrane energije navedeni spremnici dijele se na latentne i osjetne. U ovom radu napravljen je jednostavni matematički model i simulacija rada dva spremnika temeljena na navedenim tehnologijama. Simulacije su provedene uz jednake rubne uvijete kako bi se omogućila usporedba radnih karakteristika obiju tehnologija. U nastavku rada prikazani su rezultati usporedbe te su kvantificirane prednosti i nedostatci pojedine tehnologije. Okvirni proračun spremnika i solarnog postrojenja, matematički model i simulacija napravljeni su korištenjem računalnog paketa Matlab, programa Matlab i Simulink. Rubni uvjeti postavljeni su tako da okvirno odgovaraju solarnoj termoelektrani električne snage 1 MW temeljene na tehnologiji paraboličnih kolektora.
Abstract (english)
To overcome intermittent nature and energy production only when the sun shines, thermal energy storage is used. Investments in solar thermal power plants a re rising due to the utilization of thermal energy storage (TES). Usage of TES allows extension of energy production, makes production rate more stable and allows production of energy based on consumer needs. Likewise, solar thermal power plant can work as base and peak load power plant. Utilization of TES makes solar thermal power plants competitive compared to the other energy production technologies based on renewable energy sources as well as those that use fossil fuels. Hence, the great importance of contributing the development of TES is needed and the most studied types are latent and sensible heat storages. This article presents analysis and comparison of those 2 types of TES and represents the characteristics of both, same as their advantages and di sadvantages. The analysis of TES is conducted in Matlab software and the characteristics of TES are simulated in Simulink software. The characteristics of TES are represented for solar thermal power plant with 1 MW electric power output.
