The desire to improve the results and the athlete's abilities has led to the development of a training method that links the speed of movement and load. This exercise method is now known as pliometry. A review of the market found that, despite the importance and popularity of using plyometry in the preparation of all athletes, the market does not offer a sufficiently good construction solution that would allow to perform such style of movement. The greatest disadvantage of the offered products is that, as with many other exercises, it isolates exercise rather than providing synergic stimulation which is essence of plyometric exercise. For these reasons, the goal of this graduate thesis is to find an adequate constructional solution that will allow the plyometric exercise of the lower body part while simultaneously preserving the complex activation of all synergistic elements, primarily the body and arm. In the introduction, basic information about the muscles, types of their contraction, and an explanation of the pylometric exercise method will be elaborated in order, to understand the topic and issues that this paper deals with. The study examines the problems of existing solutions, as well as the requirements and goals set out in the conceptualization and design process. Furthermore, a body position analysis was performed during different phases of the jump in order to provide a clear picture of ergonomic requirements which need to be fulfilled. After the conducted structural design and the design proposal, an analysis of structural integrity was performed using the finite element method based on the expected loads that appear on the construction, for the most unfavorable case assumed. Finally, a 3D view of the construction solution is presented. The new solution offers a new quality of exercise in the plyometric regime, enabling complex body movements from beginners to top athletes, which significantly changes the offer on the market.
