Abstract
Ovaj rad obrađuje temu separacije zraka s naglaskom na kriogenu separaciju odnosno destilaciju. Na početku je pregled postupaka koji se koriste za manju proizvodnju kisika ili dušika ograničene čistoće, a zatim se prelazi na postupak kriogene separacije koji služi za proizvodnju velikih količina izrazito čistih tehničkih plinova. Ovdje je objašnjena jednostavna kolona za separaciju zraka te složena kolona za separaciju zraka koja radi pri dva različita tlaka i osnova je svih modernih postrojenja za proizvodnju dušika i kisika koji za separaciju koriste princip destilacije. Nakon toga je detaljano opisan cjelokupni postupak separacije zraka na dušik, kisik i argon te su zasebno obrađeni pojedini elementi procesa s odgovarajućim količinskim i energetskim bilancama te pripadajućim skicama. Na temelju postavljenih bilanci provedena je analiza utjecaja pojedinih odnosa protoka na sam rad procesa te je odabrana radna točka za koju su dimenzionirani uređaji. Uslijedilo je određivanje minimalno potrebnog refluksa za rad kolona te je određen potreban broj teorijskih plitica kolona Thiele-McCabe-ovim postupkom koji je dodatno modificiran za složene kolone i višekomponentne smjese. Na temelju tako određenog broja teorijskih plitica dimenzionirane su kolone koje koriste strukturirano punilo. U nastavku su obrađeni aluminijski lemljeni izmjenjivači topline koji su važan dio svih procesa koji rade u kriogenom području te je prikazan toplinski proračun svih izmjenjivača topline, a posebna pažnja je posvećena višestrujnom izmjenjivaču topline kod kojeg je primijenjena pinch analiza pomoću koje je određen optimalni raspored struja. Na kraju je proveden osnovni proračun čvrstoće pojedinih dijelova te je izrađena tehnička dokumentacija niskotlačne kolone i dispozicijski crtež dijela postrojenja koji se nalazi unutar izolirane kutije.
Abstract (english)
This diploma thesis deals with air separation with emphasis on cryogenic separation or distillation. At the beginning there is a short review of processes which are being used to produce smaller amounts of oxygen or nitrogen with a limited puritiy and after that topic of cryogenic separation, which is being used in order to produce large amount of high purity technical gases, is covered. There are explained simple and complex columns for air separation where the latter one works on two different pressures and is a key component of any modern process plant which uses distillation in order to produce nitrogen and oxygen. After that there is a detailed description of whole process for separation of air into nitrogen, oxygen and argon with material and energy balance equations for separate components of process. Based on these equations there is an analysis of some process parameters and their influence on production output along with selection of an operating point which was used for equipment sizing. After that it was possible to determine minimum reflux ratio and number of theoretical stages with Thiele-McCabe procedure which was adapted to complex distillation of multicomponent mixtures. These results were used for design of the structured packing colums. Later on thesis deals with the brazed aluminium heat exchangers which are important part of any cryogenic process. There is a calculation of thermodynamic characteristics of all heat exchangers with emphasis on multiflow heat exchangers where pinch analysis was used in order to determine optimal flow arrangement. At the end there is a basic calculation of strength for some components with technical drawings of low pressure column and cold box internal apparatus.
