As part of this bachelor thesis a heating system and a domestic hot water system were designed forthe residential business building. Total area of the building is 3800 m2 and it is located in the area of the City of Split. The total projected losses of the building, calculated according to the HRN EN 12831 standard, are 118 kW. The annual heat energy required for heating is calculated according to the Algorithm for calculation of the necessary energy for heating and cooling the building, according to HRN ISO 13790 and is 17 kWh/m2a for business space and 24 kWh/m2a for the residential part of the building. The heat energy required for the preparation of domestic hot water is 36480 kWh/a. The heating system as a heat source uses a high-temperature heat pump of 180 kW. For heating of individual building rooms, radiators are provided to which the circulation pumps through the two-way pipe system supply the heating water of 55/40°C. The system is equipped with a 940 l hot water tank for a better work of a heat pump. In the heating system, there is also an expansion vessel of 800 l to compensate for the change in volume of water in the system and calorimeters that measure the consumption of heat energy in each property. The domestic hot water system is designed as an accumulation system with two storage tanks of 740 l capacity each. The heating system as well as the domestic hot water system is equipped with the required armature and control elements for fully automatic operation. Along with this work, the disposition drawings that define the layout of the equipment by floor and the functional scheme of the system connection and the automatic regulation and runaway heating system diagram are submitted.
