Abstract
Tema ovoga rada je rekonstrukcija niskotemperatunog dijela postrojenja za kriogenu separaciju zraka. Na početku rada opisani su dijelovi spomenutog postrojenja i osnovni procesi pomoću kojih se separacija zraka odvija. Objašnjena je uloga niskotemperatunog dijela i njenih komponenti, a to su truboekspanderi i sustav izmjenjivača topline. S obzirom da rekonstrukcija podrazumjeva optimizaciju i dimenzioniranje izmjenjivačkih površina posebice su opisani razvoj, vrsta i značaj izmjenjivača topline u kriogenoj separaciji zraka. Nakon toga je opisana problematika zadatka i uvjeti koje je potrebno zadovoljiti rekonstrukcijom. Potom je dan shematski prikaz izmjenjivača topline s mrežom struja te je provedena analiza masenih i toplinskih tokova. Na osnovu toga, koristeći se Pinch analizom, određena je maksimalna iskoristivost topline te je određena potreba za vanjskim spremnicima topline. U cilju postizanja maksimalne iskoristivosti topline izvršena je optimizacija mreže struja i izmjenjivačkih površina. Na kraju je izvršeno dimenzioniranje izmjenjivačkih površina pomoću termodinamičkog proračuna.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis is the reconstruction of the low-temperature part of the cryogenic separation plant. At the beginning of the work the parts of the mentioned plant and the basic processes by which air separation takes place are described. The role of the low-temperature part of the plant and its components has been explained, namely turboexpanders and heat exchanger systems. Since reconstruction implies optimization and dimensioning of the exchange surfaces, the development, type and importance of the heat exchangers in the cryogenic separation of air processes is described. After that, the task problem and the conditions that need to be met by reconstruction are described. Then a schematic illustration of the heat exchanger with the current grid was given and an analysis of mass and heat flows was performed. Based on this, using the Pinch method, maximum heat utilization is determined and possible need for external heat utilities. In order to achieve maximum heat utilization, the optimization of the network and the exchanging surfaces was carried out. At the end, dimensioning of the exchange surfaces was done by means of a thermodynamic calculation.
