Abstract
Biomasa se ubraja u obnovljivi izvore energije i predstavlja biorazgradivi dio proizvoda, koji se može ponovo iskoristiti bez dodatne štete za prirodu i okoliš. Rad se bavi istraživanjem prikladnosti peleta iz biomase dobivene iz ne-drvnih i poljoprivrednih ostataka u svrhu grijanja. Analiziraju se ukupno tri uzorka ne-drvnih peleta proizvedenih u Republici Hrvatskoj. Ispitivanja peleta se provode u redom navedenim kategorijama: sadržaj vlage, nasipna gustoća, sadržaj pepela te gornja i donja ogrjevna vrijednost u Laboratoriju za vodu, gorivo i mazivo Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje. Nakon provedenih ispitivanja odredit će se koji je od uzoraka najprikladniji za svrhu grijanja. Od analizirana tri uzorka peleta, najprikladnijim se pokazao pelet od slame uljane repice i slame soje.
Abstract (english)
Biomass makes parts of renewable sources of energy and it represents biodegradable parto f a product, that can be reused without additional damage to nature ant the environment. This thesis deals with the suitability of biomass pellets obtained from non-wood and agricultural residues for heating purposes. There is a total of three samples of non-wood pellets produced in the Republic of Croatia that are being analyzed. Pellet tests are carried out in the following categories: humidity content, bulk density, ash content, and gross and net calorific values at the Laboratory for Water, Fuel and Lubricants of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. After the tests have been completed, which of the samples is most suitable for heating purposes will be determined. Of the three pellet samples analyzed, the most suitable was the pellet of rapeseed straw and soybean straw.
