Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je utvrditi kako usmjerenost strukture ploče austenitnog nehrđajućeg čelika oznake X2CrNiMo17-12-2 utječe na abrazijsku otpornost. U teorijskom dijelu navedene su i opisane vrste nehrđajućih čelika, osnovni mehanizmi trošenja, abrazijsko trošenje i fenomen kritične veličine abrazijskog zrna. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada provedena je analiza mikrostrukture, izmjerena je mikrotvrdoća HV0,2 i ispitana je otpornost na abrazijsko trošenje na uređaju Taber abrader pri različitim kvalitetama brusnog papira. Rezultati ispitivanja pokazali su da usmjerenost strukture utječe na mikrotvrdoću i abrazijsku otpornost. Najveća tvrdoća izmjerena je u presjeku okomitom na smjer valjanja, a najmanji kumulativni gubitak mase na svim brusnim papirima izmjeren je na presjeku paralelnom sa smjerom valjanja. Time je potvrđeno da otpornost na abrazijsko trošenje nije uvijek u direktnoj korelaciji s tvrdoćom materijala. Kod svih uzoraka izražen je fenomen kritične veličine abrazivnog zrna.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper was to determine the effect of anisotropic structure on abrasive wear resistance of X2CrNiMo17-12-2 austenitic stainless steel plate. The theoretical part of this paper describes various types of stainless steel, basic wear mechanisms, especially abrasive wear and the phenomenon of critical particle size in abrasion wear. The experimental part consists of microstructure analysis, HV0,2 microhardness measurement, and abrasive wear resistance test conducted on a Taber abrader device with different qualities of abrasive papers. Test results have shown that the anisotropic structure has an observable effect on the microhardness and abrasive wear resistance. The highest hardness value was measured for the cross-section perpendicular to the direction of rolling, whereas the cross-section parallel to the rolling direction had the lowest total mass loss. That confirms the fact that abrasive wear resistance is not always in direct correlation to the material hardness. All samples have exhibited the critical particle size phenomenon in abrasive wear resistance tests.
