Taking into consideration an existing project of steel structure of industrial hale, a numerical analysis has been conducted to figure out displacements and stress which show up on structural components of hale considering various loads which affect on hale. First step was the determination of appropriate verification examples with which has been established the correctness of using finite elements for conducting numerical analysis of industrial hale. As a first verification example it has been selected a beam supported on hinged and roller support, while a steel frame which is fixed for base has been selected for second verification example. In both examples first to be determined with analytical methods is the biggest displacement which shows up in structure and also the biggest equivalent stress according to von Mises. After that follows an approach to a numerical analysis whereby for both examples were used basic beam elements and higher order beam elements, besides, there bas been made the comparison of the results obtained by using these two types of elements. Ultimately, there has been conducted a numerical analysis of steel structure of industrial hale whereby first was conducted analysis considering its own load of the steel structure and after that was conducted analysis with the load due to snow and wind, what represents the case of the biggest load of hale. For every case of loads there were determined places with the biggest displacements and also with the biggest stress in structure and all analyses were conducted with higher order beam elements.
