Abstract
U ovom radu se proučava i detaljno opisuju metode ispitivanja kaciga i vizora za vozače i suvozače motorkotača. Metode su pravno regulirane prema pravilniku ECE-R22.05. Uz ECE sigurnosni pravilnik postoji još nekoliko priznatih normi poput Snell M2010, FIA 8860-2204, BSI, DOT, SHARP i ostalih zavisno o državi gdje se primjenjuje pravilnik. Također postoje i kacige koje se koriste isključivo u natjecateljske svrhe, stoga njihove certifikate ispituje i potvrđuje matična udruga (primjerice FIA, NASCAR...). ECE-R22 pravilnik, koji je na snagu stupio 16.10.1995., je jedan od najraširenijih pravilnika za ispitivanje kaciga te se primjenjuje u više od 50 zemalja. Drugi najčešći pravilnik koji se koristi, pretežito u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, je Snell metoda koja je mnogo stroža u svojim pravilima. Najviše se razlikuju u testovima apsorpcije energije sudara gdje se kod Snell metode čak ispituje dvostruki sudar utega i kacige u isto mjesto.
Abstract (english)
This thesis examines and describes in details the testing methods of helmets and visors for motorcycle drivers and passengers. Methods are legally regulated according to the ECER22.05 regulation. Besides the ECE safety regulation, there are several other recognized test procedures such as Snell M2010, FIA 8860-2004, BSI, DOT, Sharp and others, depending on the country where the regulation applies. There are also helmets that are used solely for racing purposes, so their certificates are examined and confirmed by the parent organizations (such as FIA, NASCAR …). ECE-R22 regulation, which came into force on 16.10.1995., is one of the most popular and widespreaded regulation in the world, since their acts are acknowledged and used in more then 50 countries. Another standard frequently used, mainly in the United States, the Snell method which is much more rigorous in their policies. The difference between ECE and Snell regulation is the impact absorption test, where the Snell norm requires the double impact of the anvil on the same place of the helmet.
