Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu je opisan nastanak vitkog menadžmenta te su opisane značajke vitkog pogona. Nabrojani su temeljni vitki alati te su neki od njih koji su korišteni u radu i detaljnije opisani. Zatim je opisana Six Sigma metodologija i dani su primjeri kompanija koje su vrlo uspješne u njenom provođenju. Kao spoj tih dviju metodologija nastala je Lean Six Sigma. U radu su također opisane uloge te gubitci prema Lean Six Sigma metodologiji. Zatim je dan pregled DMAIC procesa s primjerima njegovih često korištenih alata. U konačnici, slijedeći DMAIC pristup, opisan je primjer praktične primjene Lean Six Sigma metodologije u hrvatskom poduzeću Končar D&ST.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis describes the origins of lean manufacturing and the characteristics of a lean factory. The basic lean tools are listed and some of them which have been used in this paper are described in more detail. Then the Six Sigma methodology is described and examples of companies with successful Six Sigma implementation are given. As a combination of these two methodologies, Lean Six Sigma was created. This thesis also describes the roles and losses according to the Lean Six Sigma methodology. An overview of the DMAIC process is then given with examples of its frequently used tools. Finally, following the DMAIC approach, an example of practical application of the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the Croatian company Končar D&ST is given.
