Abstract
Temelj ovog završnog rada je svežanj vodikovih gorivnih članaka s protonski propusnom membranom. Uspoređeni su visokotemperaturni i niskotemperaturni svežnjevi vodikovih gorivnih članaka. Objašnjeno je koje su prednosti visokotemperaturnoga u usporedbi s niskotemperaturnim svežnjem vodikovih gorivnih članaka te su pobrojani neki od problema zbog kojih visokotemperaturni svežnjevi još nisu u komercijalnoj uporabi. Nadalje, prikazana je analiza sustava za hlađenje zrakom i rashladnom tekućinom. Raspravljeno je koji od sustava hlađenja bolje funkcionira i u kojim uvjetima. Za svaki od sustava hlađenja razrađene su inačice koje su provedive i koje se koriste u praksi. Na temelju iznesenih činjenica odabran je optimalan sustav za hlađenje niskotemperaturnoga svežnja vodikovih gorivnih članaka. Napravljena je analiza u MATLAB / Simulink programskom paketu te su diskutirani dobiveni rezultati koji zorno prikazuju koliko je za sustav hlađenja bitna geometrija kanala za rashladnu tekućinu i brzina strujanja rashladne tekućine kroz kanal.
Abstract (english)
This thesis is based hydrogen fuel cell stacks with proton-exchange membrane. High-temperature and low-temperature hydrogen fuel cell stacks are compared, followed by a detailed explanation of the advantages of high-temperature stacks in comparison to low-temperature hydrogen fuel cell stacks. Along with that, several issues that prevent high-temperature stacks from being in commercial use are examined. Furthermore, air-coolant systems and coolant-solution systems are analyzed, with the emphasis on an explanation of which system operates best under which conditions. For each of the cooling systems, feasible instances that can be used in practice are shown. Lastly, based on the conducted analysis, the optimal system for the low-temperature hydrogen fuel cell stacks cooling process is chosen. The MATLAB / Simulink programme package analysis has been made and results clearly show how important the canal geometry is for the cooling liquid, along with the speed of the cooling liquid through the very canal.
