Abstract
Primjena kompozitnih materijala za izradu okvira bicikala, osim povoljnijih specifičnih mehaničkih svojstava u odnosu na konvencionalne materijale, omogućuje veliku fleksibilnost prilikom konstruiranja u pogledu forme i manipulacije lokalnim svojstvima materijala. Pravilnim odabirom rasporeda slojeva laminata moguće je ostvariti znatno bolje vozne karakteristike u odnosu na okvire izrađene od konvencionalnih materijala. U ovom je radu proveden odabir rasporeda slojeva uz pomoć numeričke analize u programskom paketu Abaqus za brdski bicikl kategorije enduro s prednjim i stražnjim ovjesom. Prikazan je način korištenja i zahtjevi koje brdski bicikl kategorije enduro mora zadovoljiti. Opisane su osnovne smjernice za odabir rasporeda slojeva te je prikazana teoretska podloga Tsai-Hill kriterija popuštanja korištenog pri analizi. Dan je pregled zahtjeva sigurnosti i trajnosti za okvire brdskih bicikala prema normi ISO 4210-6-2023. Provedena je procjena stvarnih opterećenja okvira na temelju podataka iz literature i mjerenja akceleracije prilikom karakterističnih opterećenja te je prikazana obrada podataka. Izrađen je 3D model na temelju postojećeg reprezentativnog okvira. Korištenjem geometrije izrađenog modela i mjerenih opterećenja provedena je numerička analiza u programskom paketu Abaqus. Na temelju rezultata analize odabran je konačan raspored slojeva te je provedena kontrolna analiza ispunjavanja zahtjeva norme.
Abstract (english)
Application of composite materials for bicycle frames production, besides having more favorable specific mechanical properties compared to conventional materials, allows great flexibility in terms of form design and manipulation of local material properties. By selecting the proper layup, significantly better riding characteristics can be achieved compared to frames made of conventional materials. In this study, the layup selection was carried out using numerical analysis in the Abaqus software for a full suspension enduro category mountain bike. The use case scenario and requirements for an enduro mountain bike were presented. The basic guidelines for selecting layer arrangements were described and the theoretical background of the Tsai-Hill failure criterion used in the analysis was shown. An overview of safety and durability requirements for mountain bike frames according to ISO 4210-6-2023 was provided. A real-life frame load assessment was carried out based on data from literature and acceleration measurements during characteristic load cases. Data processing was shown. A 3D model based on a existing representative frame was made. Using the geometry of the created model and measured loads, a numerical analysis was performed using the Abaqus software. Based on the analysis results, the final layup was selected, and a control analysis was carried out to ensure that the requirements of the standard were met.
