Abstract Tlak je jedna od najvažnijih složenih fizikalnih veličina u tehnici te se koristi u gotovo svim granama industrije. Također tlak kao takav nam je jako važna veličina kada govorimo o jednoj od glavnih vitalnih funkcija ljudskog organizma. U tom slučaju govorimo o krvnom tlaku s kojim se danas u vezu dovode mnogobrojna stanja organizma koja manje ili više značajno odstupaju od normalnih vrijednosti. Daljnjom analizom u ovom radu opisane su najvažnije metode mjerenja krvnog tlaka koje se danas koriste u modernoj medicini. Također, uz pregled metoda od velike važnosti je nadodati i naglasiti kako su način života i svakodnevne navike od signifikantne važnosti za održavanje normalnih vrijednosti krvnog tlaka. Kako je ovim radom obuhvaćen fundamentalni dio koji određuje stanje organizma modernog čovjeka, tako dolazimo i do važnosti mjerenja krvnog tlaka te osiguranje točnosti uređaja kojima se pribjegava u svrhu ispunjenja zadanih funkcija. Proceduralni dio ispitivanja uređaja za mjerenje krvnog tlaka opsian je međunarodnim regulativama OIML R 16-1 i OIML R 16-2 prema kojima je detaljno opisana procedura ispitivanja. Nakon opisanih procedura unutar ovog rada provedena su i ispitivanja uređaja za mjerenje krvnog tlaka. Ispitivanja su provedena u kontroliranim uvjetima Laboratorija za procesna mjerenja Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje. Ispitani uređaji su dva mehanička sfigmomanometra od kojih je jedan s opružnim elementom (Artsana), a drugi (Riester) sadrži živu kao fluid za mjerenje krvnog tlaka. Treći ispitani uređaj je moderni digitalni sfigmomanometar proizvođača OMRON koji se postavlja na radijalnu arteriju zapešća prilikom mjerenja. Na kraju je ispitana i manžeta na propuštanje tlaka koja se koristi kao vitalan dio živinog sfigmomanometra. Nakon svih provedenih ispitivanja izveden je zaključak kojim je u potpunosti definiran ovaj diplomski rad.
Abstract (english) Pressure is one of the most important complex physical quantities in technology and is used in almost all branches of industry. Pressure as such is also a very important quantity for us when we talk about one of the main vital functions of the human organism. In this case, we are talking about blood pressure, which today is associated with numerous conditions of the organism that deviate more or less significantly from normal values. Further analysis in this thesis describes the most important blood pressure measurement methods that are used in modern medicine. Also, in addition to the review of methods, it is of great importance to add and emphasize that lifestyle and daily habits are of significant importance for maintaining normal blood pressure values. As this work covers the fundamental part that determines the state of the organism of the modern man, we also come to the importance pf measuring blood pressure and ensuring the accuracy of the devices that are used for the purpose of fulfilling the given functions. The procedural part of testing blood pressure measurement devices is covered by international regulations OIML R 16-1 and OIML R 16-2, according to which the testing procedure is described in detail. After the procedures described in this thesis, test of blood pressure measuring devices were also carried out. The tests were carried out in controlled conditions of the laboratory for process measurements of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. The tested devices are two mechanical sphygmomanometers, one of which has a spring element (Artsana), and the other (Riester) contains mercury as a fluid for measuring blood pressure. The third tested device is a modern digital sphygmomanometer manufactured by OMRON, which is placed on the radial artery of the wrist during measurement. Finally, the pressure leakage cuff, which is used as a vital part of the mercury sphygmomanometer, was tested. After all the tests provided, a conclusion was drawn which fully defined this master thesis.
