Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je proučiti utjecaj učinka hladila na napajanje aluminijske prirubnice. U teoretskom dijelu rada, predstavljene su sve komponente potrebne za razumijevanje svrhe eksperimenta. Također, proučeno je stanje današnje ljevačke industrije kao i smjer u kojem se razvija, te je detaljnije obrazloženo korištenje aluminija i njegovih legura u ovome radu, ali i u cijeloj industriji. Za eksperimentalni dio rada pripremljeni su CAD modeli uljevnog sustava, prirubnice, pojila i hladila, te su detaljnije pojašnjene njihove uloge u projektiranju kalupa. Eksperimentalni dio rada obuhvaća izradu simulacije lijevanja i skrućivanje taline što omogućuje detaljnu analizu lijevane aluminijske prirubnice po cijelom volumenu. Provođenjem analize utvrđuje se uspješnost lijevanja u prethodno dimenzionirani uljevni sustav koja se očitava kao nedostatak grešaka u obliku usahlina odnosno, poroznosti u odljevku. Nakon odrađene simulacije, u Laboratoriju za ljevarstvo je izrađen kalup u kojem je provedeno lijevanje aluminijske prirubnice sa zadaćom usporedbe rezultata simulacije i stvarnog lijevanja.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of this thesis was to study the influence of chill performance on the risering of aluminium alloy flange. In the theoretical part of this work, all components that are necessary for understanding the purpose of the experiment were presented. Also, the current state of the foundry industry and the direction it is heading to were studied. Additionally use of aluminium and its alloys in this work, as well as in the entire industry, was explained in more detail. For the experimental part of this work, CAD models of the gating system, the flange, risers and chills were prepared, and their roles in mould design were explained in more detail. The experimental part of the work includes the simulation of casting and solidification of the melt, which enables a detailed analysis of the cast aluminium flange throughout the entire volume. By carrying out the analysis, the success of casting in the previously dimensioned gating system was determined, which is reflected in the absence of errors such as shrinkage-porosity in the casting. After completed simulation, a mould was produced in Foundry laboratory, in which casting of the aluminium alloy flange was carried out with the aim of comparing the results of the simulation and the actual casting.
