This final work was aimed at analyzing the labor market in European Union tourism. In the introductory part, the theoretical framework of the labor market was presented as a background for the work, with an emphasis on characteristics and trends in the labor market in tourism of the European Union. In the central part, the emphasis is on the importance of tourism as a driver of the whole economy of the state, in this case the entire European Union. In the perspective of growth and development perspective, the emphasis is placed on three important priorities of the European Union, namely: smart growth, sustainable growth and inclusive growth. The last part deals with the analysis of the labor market in tourism in the European Union where the labor market is handled in tourism, and in particular the chapter emphasizes the comparison of the current situation of the European Union labor market with regard to other sectors. Also considered is the overall development and trends in tourism in the Mediterranean countries of the European Union, where it is emphasized on the competitiveness of the Mediterranean countries in terms of the labor market. The concluding part includes presenting the prospects for future development of the labor market in Mediterranean EU tourism as an increasingly competitive area of the European Union.
