The concept of a tourism product includes a package of services, activities and events that meet the visitor's expectations and their motivation to visit a certain destination. Whereas local tourism products usually have the purpose of entertaining the local population, national and international ones are mostly created with the aim of attracting foreign visitors and income in the host country. Elements of a tourism product in the general sense involve accommodation, hospitality (food and beverages), transportation (transfers to and from the destination), special contents (entertainment, education, sight-seeing) and other services. Therefore, in its essence, a tourism product represents the creation of experience offered to tourists that has a recognized value. In the process of constituting a tourism product and organizing its particularities creativity and innovation are necessary, as they ensure an image of the destination that is acknowledged as attractive and rich in content. Fast market changes thereby demand an incessant rise in the product’s quality and a competitive offer, to which popular tourist destinations increasingly answer by developing new tourist-focused events and creating varied offers across age groups, integrating them all into a quality tourism product. Not limiting themselves to seasonal summer projects concentrated on the coastline, event-based tourism products are necessary for maintaining high foreign income throughout the year.
