Abstract
Od davnina, vodstvo je pojam poznat čovječanstvu. Prvi vođe morali su osigurati hranu i smještaj obitelji, kasnije vodstvo je dobilo svoju ulogu u ratovanju, a danas vodstvo svoju ulogu ima u usmjeravanju ljudi ka zajedničkom cilju poduzeća. Tematika ovog rada bavi se stilovima vodstva te njihovom implementacijom u poduzeća, također razjašnjava potrebne osobine i vještine koji svaki dobar vođa i menadžer moraju posjedovati te se daje usporedna shema vođe i menadžera kako bi se razaznalo da su to ipak različiti pojmovi u organizaciji poduzeća. Uz to, motivaciji je pridodan karakter stila vodstva te se na taj način pokušalo objasniti kako bi izgledao motivacijski stil vodstva. Kroz rad se daje teorijska podloga istraživanju, ali i praktični primjeri iz svakodnevice hotelijerstva u svrhu pojašnjena teorije. Također, u rad je implementirano i istraživanje. Istraživanjem, tražen je i dobiven rezultat „mlađe“ generacije o stavu i mišljenju kakav je sustav vodstva adekvatan te koje osobine i karakteristike vođa i menadžera smatraju bitnima.
Abstract (english)
Since ancient times, leadership has been a term known to mankind. First leaders had to provide food and accommodation for families, later leadership got its role in warfare, and today leadership has a role to play in directing people towards a common corporate goal. The theme of this paper deals with leadership styles and their implementation in enterprises, also clarifies the necessary qualities and skills that every good leader and manager must possess, and provides a comparative picture of the leader and manager in order to discern that these are nevertheless different concepts in the organization of the enterprise. In addition, motivation was attributed to a leadership style character and thus tried to explain what a motivational leadership style would look like. The paper provides a theoretical background for the research, as well as practical examples from the everyday life in the hotel industry for the purpose of clarifying the theory. Also, research was implemented in the paper. The research sought and obtained the result of the younger generation on the attitude and opinion of what kind of leadership type was adequate and what qualities and characteristics of leaders and managers they considered importan
