Abstract (english) Nautical tourism can be defined as a multifunctional tourism activity that has a pronounced maritime component. It is precisely these maritime components, which are deeply woven into nautical tourism as a tourist phenomenon, that are based on the sea, vessels and ports as their refuges. The positive effects of nautical tourism are expressed at all levels, from national to local, but also at the levels of business activities. The basic characteristics of the entire Adriatic regional tourism relate to good cooperation and joint regional appearances in the supply markets, in combination with neighboring regions and marinas. Among European countries, Italy is one of the main representative member states of nautical tourism in the Mediterranean. Spain is one of the three leading European countries in nautical tourism, especially on its Mediterranean coast. From an economic point of view, the Spanish coast is fully utilized, especially when analyzing the construction of facilities in nautical tourism. Given the above, it can be concluded that the Republic of Croatia has one of the most indented and most excellent coasts in the world. This coast, with its countless bays, coves, peninsulas, capes and islands, and the huge diversity of landscapes and environments, is the result of the geographical composition of the coastal relief. A key shortcoming is that Croatia chronically lacks berths and facilities that could accommodate mega yachts. The lack of yacht reception infrastructure, especially near cities and on islands, negatively affects the revenues generated by nautical tourism. In order to improve the existing offer, the lack of berths could be solved by modernization and reconstruction of existing facilities, which would help Croatia's nautical offer to better change its current status as an attractive nautical destination with poor infrastructure and poor offer.
