Abstract
Gorski kotar je visoravan čija nadmorska visina doseže prosjek od 700-900 m, sa planinama čija visina iznosi do iznad 1500 m. Prilaz iz unutrašnjosti je blag i postepen, dok isti odlikuje visoka strmost iznad Kvarnera. Utjecaj takvog reljefa uzrokuje brojne klimatske promjene koje se već sada događaju. Planinska klima ima za posljedicu negativne temperature zimi, naročito u siječnju, veljači i prosincu gdje se temperatura kreće od -2,0 do 0,5 stupnjeva Celzijusa, dok srednja godišnja... More temperatura iznosi oko 7,00 stupnjeva Celzijusa. Najviše temperature bilježe se u dolini rijeke Kupe. Klima općenito predstavlja jedan od važnih čimbenika životnog okoliša kojoj se stalno treba prilagođavati, iskorištavati njezine prednosti, ali isto tako obraćati pozornost na njezine moguće kratkoročne i dugoročne štetne utjecaje. Klima svojim djelovanjem, osim što utječe na okolinu, bitno utječe i na uvjete života pojedinaca te njihove društvene, gospodarske i turističke aktivnosti. No, osim što klimatski uvjeti utječu na turizam i sam turizam kao aktivnost utječe na klimatske uvjete što se očituje posebno kroz promet koji znatno utječe na kvalitetu okoliša uzrokujući mnoge negativne ekološke posljedice. U ovom radu istraženi su pozitivni i negativni učinci klimatskih promjena kako svijeta tako i Republike Hrvatske, sa naglaskom na Gorski kotar u cjelini, ali i utjecaj turizma na klimatske promjene te mjere prilagodbe na iste te klimatske promjene. Klimatske promjene kao takve se prema brojnim istraživanjima znanstvenika već događaju, a istraživanja i procjene ukazuju na to da će čak i one najmanje klimatske promjene imati velikog utjecaja na prirodni, društveni i ekonomski sustav na svim razinama. Svjetska turistička organizacija i Ujedinjeni narodi su ukazali na potencijalne rizike koji se mogu dogoditi u turizmu ako se ne poduzmu nikakve mjere prilagodbe na klimatske promjene, stoga bi se svaki pojedinac trebao upitati može li i u kojoj mjeri i sam utjecati na klimatske promjene koje nam se događaju. Abstract (english)
Gorski kotar is a plateau whose altitude reaches an average of 700-900 m, with mountains up to 1500 m above sea level. Access from the interior is gentle and gradual, while it is characterized by high steepness above Kvarner. The impact of such relief causes a number of climate changes that are already happening. The mountain climate results in negative temperatures in winter, especially in January, February and December, where the same average negative amounts range from -2.0 to... More 0.5 degrees Celsius, while the average annual temperature is around 7.00 degrees Celsius. The highest temperatures are recorded in the valley of the river Kupa. Climate in general is one of the important factors of the living environment to which it should constantly adapt, take advantage of it, but also pay attention to its possible short-term and long-term harmful effects. By its effects, the climate, in addition to influencing the environment, also significantly affects the living conditions of individuals and their social, economic and tourist activities. However, apart from the fact that climatic conditions affect tourism, tourism itself as an activity also influences climatic conditions, which is especially evident through transport, which significantly affects the quality of the environment, causing many negative environmental consequences. This paper investigates the positive and negative effects of climate change both in the world and in the Republic of Croatia, with emphasis on Gorski kotar as a whole, but also the impact of tourism on climate change and adaptation measures to the same and climate change. Climate change as such, according to numerous scientific studies, is already happening, and research and assessments suggest that even the smallest climate change will have a major impact on the natural, social and economic system at all levels. The World Tourism Organization and the United Nations have pointed out the potential risks that can occur in tourism if no measures are taken to adapt to climate change, so each individual should ask himself whether and to what extent he can influence climate change.
