Abstract
Ovaj završni rad istražuje potencijal ruralnog turizma u Požeško-slavonskoj županiji, s naglaskom na razvoj održivog i autentičnog iskustva za posjetitelje. Cilj istraživanja je bio identificirati prirodne i kulturne resurse županije te analizirati njihovu turističku atraktivnost i mogućnosti razvoja. Provedena je i anketa među lokalnim stanovništvom kako bi se dobila saznanja o trenutnom stanju ruralnog turizma i preprekama s kojima se suočava. Rezultati su ukazali na potrebu za poticanjem mladih da se bave ruralnim turizmom te promocijom turističkih sadržaja. Završni rad zaključuje da Požeško-slavonska županija ima bogat potencijal za razvoj ruralnog turizma te da je isti djelomično razvijen, ali postoji mogućnost napretka.
Abstract (english)
This final paper explores the potential of rural tourism in Požega-Slavonia County, with an emphasis on the development of a sustainable and authentic experience for visitors. The aim of the research was to identify the natural and cultural resources of the county and to analyze their tourist attractiveness and development possibilities. A survey was also conducted among the local population in order to obtain data on the current state of rural tourism and the obstacles it faces. The results indicated the need to encourage young people to engage in rural tourism and promote tourist content. The final paper concludes that Požega-Slavonia County has a rich potential for the development of rural tourism and that it is partially developed, but there is a possibility of progress
