Abstract
Razni istraživači proučavali su žalovanje, a kao začetnik toga navodi se Sigmund Freud iako se danas u praksi najčešće objašnjava i koristi model žalovanja koji je prikazala Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. Oni su kroz svoja istraživanja opisali proces žalovanja, čimbenike i načine na koje oni djeluju na proces žalovanja u ljudi, zatim obilježja navedenog procesa te razne oblike žalovanja. Kako bi se proces žalovanja odvio »normalnim« tokom ožalošćenoj osobi potrebne su razne vrste podrške koju može dobiti iz svoje društvene okoline odnosno od svoje obitelji, prijatelja ili ukoliko je potrebno stručnjaka. Medicinske sestre/tehničari profesionalci su koji se često u svom poslu susreću sa ožalošćenim osobama te je stoga važno da znaju na koji način mogu takvim osobama pružiti podršku i pomoći im. Ovaj rad istraživao je stavove studenata sestrinstva prema žalovanju i ožalošćenim osobama te kakav utjecaj navedeno ima na njih.
Abstract (english)
Various researchers have studied mourning, and Sigmund Freud is the author of this, although today through the practice most commonly explained and used model of mourning is the one shown by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. Through their research, they described the grieving process, the factors and ways in which they affect the grieving process in humans, then the characteristics of the grieving process and the various forms of grieving. In order for the grieving process to go »normal« during the process, the bereaved person needs various types of support that he or she can obtain from his or her social environment, from his family, friends or if necessary an expert. Nurses / nurse technicians are professionals who often encounter bereaved persons in their work, and it is therefore important for them to know how they can support and assist such persons. This paper explored the nursing students' attitudes toward grieving and bereaved individuals and the impact they have on them.
