Abstract | Uvod: Zadovoljstvo poslom i radni lokus kontrole povezani su s mnogim važnim organizacijskim ishodima.
Cilj: Izmjeriti povezanost između zadovoljstva poslom i radnog lokusa kontrole kod fizioterapeuta.
Metode: Ispitivanje je provedeno upitnicima na prigodnom uzorku fizioterapeuta. Uvodnim dijelom upitnika prikupljeni su opći podaci koji se odnose na dob, spol, stupanj obrazovanja i dužinu radnog staža ispitanika. Zadovoljstvo poslom mjerilo se ljestvicom zadovoljstva poslom, prijevod instrumenta Job Satisfaction Survey, dok se radni lokus kontrole mjerio hrvatskom verzijom Spectorove ljestvice radnog lokusa kontrole.
Rezultati: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 79 fizioterapeuta, od čega 55 (70%) žena i 24 (30%) muškaraca u dobi od 25 do 65 godina. Ukupno zadovoljstvo poslom fizioterapeuta ocijenjeno je kao ambivalentno. Fizioterapeuti su iskazali zadovoljstvo s prirodom posla, nadređenima i suradnicima, dok su prema napredovanju, plaći, povlasticama, potencijalnim nagradama, komunikaciji i operativnim postupcima iskazali ambivalentan stav. Pronađene su statistički značajne razlike u zadovoljstvu poslom s obzirom na dob, stupanj obrazovanja i dužinu radnog staža. Značajne razlike s obzirom na spol nisu pronađene. Fizioterapeuti imaju ukupno viši unutarnji radni lokus kontrole. Pronađene su značajne razlike u radnom lokusu kontrole s obzirom na dob, stupanj obrazovanja i dužinu radnog staža. Razlike u radnom lokusu kontrole s obzirom na spol nisu pronađene. Nađena je značajna i pozitivna vrlo dobra povezanost unutarnjeg lokusa kontrole i zadovoljstva poslom te značajna negativna povezanost vanjskog lokusa kontrole i zadovoljstva poslom. Značajna pozitivna povezanost nađena je između unutarnjeg lokusa kontrole i zadovoljstva potencijalnim nagradama, napredovanjem, povlasticama, plaćom, komunikacijom, nadređenima, prirodom posla i operativnim postupcima. Značajna negativna povezanost nađena je između vanjskog lokusa kontrole i zadovoljstva komunikacijom, potencijalnim nagradama, operativnim postupcima, prirodom posla, nadređenima i povlasticama.
Zaključak: Zadovoljstvo poslom je pozitivno povezano s unutarnjim radnim lokusom kontrole i negativno povezano s vanjskim radnim lokusom kontrole kod fizioterapeuta. |
Abstract (english) | Background: Job satisfaction and work locus of control are associated with many important organizational outcomes
Aim: To measure relationship between job satisfaction and work locus of control among phys-iotherapists
Methods: The study has been carried out with questionnaires on convenient sample of physiotherapist. In the introduction, the basic data referring to age, gender, education degree and tenure have been collected. Job satisfaction was measured by Job Satisfaction Survey, while the work locus of control was measured by Croatian version of work locus of control scale.
Results: The study involved 79 physiotherapists, of which they are 55 (70%) females and 24 (30%) males in age interval from 25 to 65 years. Overall job satisfaction among physiotherapists has been graded as ambivalent. Physiotherapists have shown that are satisfied with nature of work, supervision, and coworkers, while towards promotion, pay, fringe benefits, contingent rewards, communication and operating procedures have shown ambivalent. Statistically significant differences in job satisfaction considering age, education degree and tenure have been observed. Significant differences considering gender have not been observed. The study has shown higher internal locus of control among physiotherapists. Statistically significant differences in work locus of control considering age, education degree and tenure have been observed. Significant differences considering gender have not been observed. Significant and very good correlation of internal locus of control and job satisfaction and furthermore, significant negative correlation between external locus of control and job satisfaction have been observed. Significant positive correlation between internal locus of control and satisfaction considering contingent rewards, promotions, fringe benefits, pay, communication, supervision, nature of work and operating procedures have been observed. Significant negative correlation between external locus of control and satisfaction considering communication, contingent rewards, operating procedures, nature of work, supervision and fringe benefits have been observed.
Conclusion: Job satisfaction of physiotherapists is in positive correlation with internal work locus of control and in negative correlation with external work locus of control. |
