Abstract
Kartografija je kao disciplina kroz povijest pratila tehnološki razvoj te je kartografski prikaz od crteža u pećinama došao do interaktivne internetske karte koja se može mijenjati iz sekunde u sekundu. Pojavom digitalne kartografije izrada karata je postala dostupna svim korisnicima računala što je rezultiralo automatizacijom, odnosno olakšavanjem procesa. U diplomskom radu je opisan proces izrade interaktivne turističke karte Hercegovačko-neretvanske županije, s ciljem prikazivanja turističkog potencijala druge po redu turistički najaktivnije županije u Federaciji Bosne i Hercegovine. U teorijskom dijelu rada su objašnjeni pojmovi važni za tematsku, digitalnu i web kartografiju te su prikazana prirodna i antropogena bogatstva Hercegovačko-neretvanske županije. Također, odrađena je te prikazana analiza turističke aktivnosti tog područja. Za izradu praktičnog dijela rada, korištena je besplatna platforma ArcGIS Online koja omogućuje izradu interaktivnih karata na intuitivan i jednostavan način. Opisan je cijeli proces izrade karte, od analize dostupnih softvera pa do konačnog objavljivanja karte korisnicima.
Abstract (english)
Cartography as a discipline has followed technological development throughout history, evolving from cave drawings to interactive online maps that can be updated in real time. With the advent of digital cartography, map making has become accessible to all computer users, resulting in automatization and simplification of the process. This thesis describes the process of creating an interactive tourist map of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, with the aim of showcasing the tourist potential of the second most tourist-active canton in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The theoretical part of the thesis explains important concepts regarding thematic, digital and web cartography and also presents the natural and anthropogenic riches of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. Additionally, an analysis of the tourist activity in this area was conducted and presented. The free platform ArcGIS Online, which allows for creation of interactive maps in an intuitive and simple manner, was used for the practical part of the thesis, The entire process of creating the map is described, from the analysis of available software to the final publication of the map for users.
