Abstract
Rastom populacije raste i potrošnja pitke vode koja rezultira stvaranjem sve većih količina otpadnih voda. Uvodnim dijelom ovog rada definirani su osnovni pojmovi za razumijevanje problematike otpadnih voda te su opisani izvori i vrste onečišćenja. Slijedi prikaz procesa i tehnika pročišćavanja otpadnih voda. Postupci i primijenjene tehnologije objašnjene su na uređaju za pročišćavanje otpadnih voda grada Donjeg Miholjca. Učinkovitost pročišćavanja prikazana je pomoću rezultata laboratorijskih analiza na ulazu i izlazu iz uređaja.
Abstract (english)
Growth of population increases the consumption of drinking water and the production of huge amounts of wastewater. The introduction provides the basic concepts for understanding the issues of wastewater following by descriptions of sources and types of pollution and processes in wastewater treatment technology. Procedures and applied technologies are explained by the construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant in Donji Miholjac. The efficiency of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Donji Miholjac is presented by the results of laboratory analysis of influent and efluent during the year 2018.
