Abstract
Kružna raskrižja definiramo kao građevine koje služe za prometovanje motoriziranog i nemotoriziranog prometa, a definirana su središnjim kružnim otokom, kružnim kolnikom, te privozima s razdjelnim otocima. Kružna raskrižja možemo podijeliti s obzirom na lokaciju i veličinu, broju privoza, broju prometnih trakova unutar raskrižja, podjelu s obzirom na namjenu kojoj će raskrižje služiti, s obzirom na vođenje pojedinih smjerova i na vrstu središnjeg otoka. Kriteriji koji su polazišne točke u fazi koncipiranja raskrižja s kružnim tokom prometa su prostorno-urbanistički, prometni, prometno-sigurnosni i kriteriji propusne moći. Projektno oblikovni elementi kružnih raskrižja sastoje se od kružnog kolnika, privoza, razdjelnih otoka, poprečnog nagiba kolnika, te drugih elemenata za oblikovanje površina namjenjenih ostalim vrstama prometa. Postoji mnogo metoda koje služe za proračun propusne moći kružnih raskrižja. Metode koje se primjenjuju mogu se podijeliti u četiri osnovne skupine, a to su determinističke, statističke, metode temeljene na teoriji vjerojatnosti i simulacijske. U ovom radu za proračun i usporedbu propusne moći kružnih raskrižja korištena je Austrijska metoda. Austrijska metoda primijenjena je za proračun propusne moći dva odabrana kružna raskrižja u Slavonskom Brodu.
Abstract (english)
Roundabouts are constructions used for motorized and non-motorized traffic, defined by the central island, roundabout pavement, and approaches with splitter islands. Roundabouts are divided according to location and size, number of access roads, number of traffic lanes within the intersection, according to the purpose, and regarding the guidance of individual directions and the type of central island. The criteria serve as starting points in designing of the roundabouts are spatial-urban, traffic, traffic safety, and capacity criteria. The design elements of roundabouts consist of roundabout shape, pavement, access roads, splitter islands, transverse slopes of the pavement, and other elements design for other types of traffic. There are many methods used to estimate the capacity of roundabouts. The methods are divided into four basic groups: deterministic, statistical, methods based on probability theory, and simulation methods. In this paper, the Austrian method was used to calculate and compare the capacity of roundabouts. The Austrian method was applied to calculate the capacity of two selected roundabouts in Slavonski Brod.
