Reconstruction of roads by recycling the existing pavement structure is an innovative and environmentally conscious way that has not really taken root in our environment. The presentation of ups and downs, in the quantities of work performed over more than fifteen years of application, is proof of this fact. Technologies characteristic of the topic include activities before the start of work as preliminary testing of the existing pavement structure and constituent materials intended for use during pavement recycling and design of the composition (recipe) of hot or cold recycled mixture. The recycled mixture can be produced on site IN SITU using a specialized plant, recycler, milling the existing pavement to a given depth, homogenizing with other added materials, binders, water and other additives. The section of the state road DC 45 through the settlement of Hercegovac is an example of road recycling by the process of reuse of damaged layers of the road structure for the production of new layers by the IN PLANT process. It is carried out at a specially equipped plant, made of milled material removed from the existing road and delivered to the intended landfill with other added materials, binders and water. The plant is set up to produce a recycled layer in accordance with the requirements and conditions. In this thesis, the focus will be on making a choice of mechanization for the chosen technology of recycling and reuse of crushed material and narrowing the selection of machines, defining the key parameters, conditions and limitations of application, as well as the calculation and comparison of theoretical, planned and actual performance system.
