Abstract
Protupožarna zaštita od posebnog interesa za svaku državu pa tako i za Republiku Hrvatsku jer se njome spašavaju imovina i ljudski životi. Mnogobrojne su mjere za protupožarnu zaštitu, a među njima značajnu ulogu imaju građevinske mjere. Građevinskim mjerama se treba osigurati optimalna razina protupožarne zaštite pri čemu se koriste numeričke metode za procjenu ugroženosti od požara. Osiguranje optimalne zaštite od požara nekog objekta ili prostora počinje procjenom ugroženosti od požara. Zatim su tu hidraulički proračuni i pravilan odabir vatrogasnih aparata. Tema završnog rada je protupožarna zaštita dječjeg vrtića. U radu je opisan i izveden postupak numeričke procjene ugroženosti od požara, hidraulički proračun hidrantske mreže za zaštitu od požara te proračun količine i vrste vatrogasnih aparata.
