Abstract
U ovom je radu provedeno eksperimentalno ispitivanje četiri serije starih opeka izdvojenih iz objekata koji su uklonjeni na području Osijeka. Pretpostavlja se da su opeke nastale polovicom prošlog stoljeća, te da su izrađivane ručno. Postupci određivanja izmjera, kapilarnog upijanja, vodoupojnosti, te upijanja i otpuštanja vode u vremenu provedeni su u laboratorijskim uvjetima, u laboratoriju Instituta Građevinarstva Hrvatske. Rezultati ispitivanja obrađeni su pomoću računalnog programa Microsoft Excel, prikazani su tablično te pomoću dijagrama, a svi postupci ispitivanja potkrijepljeni su fotografijama nastalim pri samom ispitivanju.
