Abstract
Freoni su skupina spojeva koji se sastoje od kloro-flouro supstituiranih ugljikovodika (CFC). Ti spojevi počeli su se koristiti u industriji tijekom prve polovice 20. stoljeća zbog svojih nezapaljivih i netoksičnih svojstava, posebice kao rashladna sredstva u hladnjacima. Međutim, znanstvenici su 1960-ih i 1970-ih počeli primjećivati da freoni imaju negativan utjecaj na ozonski omotač i klimatske promjene te štetnost za okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. Stoga je proizvodnja i uporaba mnogih freona regulirana, ograničena ili zabranjena zbog njihovih negativnih utjecaja na okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. U završnom radu bit će prikazan povijesni razvoj freona, njihova primjena, metode određivanja, utjecaj na okoliš i atmosferu, zakonski okviri te zamjene za CFC.
Abstract (english)
Freons are a group of compounds consisting of chloro-fluoro-substituted hydrocarbons (CFCs). These compounds were first used in industry in the first half of the 20th century due to their non-flammable and non-toxic properties, particularly as refrigerants in refrigerators. However, in the late 1960s and 1970s, scientists began to notice serious problems with freons, such as their negative effects on the ozone layer, the contribution to climate change, and harmfulness to the environment and human health. As a result, their production and use have been regulated, restricted or banned due to their negative effects on the environment and human health. The bachelor thesis presents the historical development of Freons, their application, determination methods, their impact on the environment and the atmosphere, the legal frameworks and substitutes for CFCs.
