Abstract
Ovaj rad obuhvaća detaljnu analizu emisija iz točkastih izvora, konkretno dimnjaka, s fokusom na identifikaciju najznačajnijih onečišćujućih tvari, osnovnih parametara točkastog izvora te načina izražavanja njihovih emisija. Nadalje, istraženi su važni čimbenici koji utječu na rasprostiranje onečišćenja iz dimnjaka, uključujući parametre dimnjaka, atmosferske utjecaje poput temperature, brzine vjetra, smjera vjetra te kategorija stabilnosti atmosfere, kao i utjecaj reljefa i terena. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na Gaussov model difuzije kao ključni alat za simulaciju širenja onečišćenja, s opisom Gaussove krivulje, primjenom na modele rasprostiranja te uvažavanjem toplinskog toka u analizi. U primjeru zadatka demonstrirana je primjena teorijskog koncepta na konkretan scenarij, dok zaključak naglašava važnost kontinuiranog istraživanja i razvoja u području upravljanja onečišćenjem iz točkastih izvora radi zaštite okoliša i javnog zdravlja.
Abstract (english)
This bachelor thesis detailed analysis of emissions from point sources, specifically chimneys, focusing on the identification of the most significant pollutants, the basic parameters of point sources, and the methods of expressing their emissions. Furthermore, it examines major factors with affect the dispersion of pollution from chimneys, including chimney parameters, atmospheric influences such as temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and atmospheric stability categories, as well as the impact of terrain and topography. Special emphasis is placed on the Gaussian diffusion model as a key tool for simulating pollution dispersion, with a description of the Gaussian curve, its application in dispersion models, and consideration of thermal flux in the analysis. The practical application of the theoretical concept is demonstrated on a case study, while the conclusion highlights the importance of ongoing research and development in the field of point source pollution management to protect the environment and public health.
