Abstract (english) The assessment of the condition of the bridge is carried out on the basis of data collected by visual inspection. It is mostly described by a series of constructive, administrative, geometric and technical data. It consists of assigning a numerical rating to the damage and/or structural element. The result is a technical assessment of the size and impact of the damage. The degree and spread of damage must be determined and evaluated along the entire length of the bridge, following certain critical sections of the bridge. The main goal of this work is to describe the current state of the bridge in Bjelovar with damaged V-pillars, to carry out rehabilitation works, to reconstruct in detail the plans of the repaired bridge, and to pay attention to the issue of traffic load. The calculation is carried out for the original and contemporary traffic load, i.e. traffic load according to the Provisional Technical Regulations (PTR-5) according to which it was built mostly and European standards (EN 1991-2). The results of the specified traffic load are obtained with the "Sofistik" software package. After the obtained results, their comparison is carried out, which was used to evaluate the carrying capacity and usability of the bridge. The assessment of the load-bearing capacity of the bridge is carried out at the level of budget shear forces and the required area of the reinforcement due to individual traffic loads according to the Rulebook for Concrete and Reinforced Concrete and the European Norms 1992-2. The assessment of the usability of the bridge is carried out at the level of the overallforecast as a result of the simultaneous effect of permanent and traffic load on the bridge.
