Abstract
Tema diplomskog rada je rekonstrukcija lijevoobalnog nasipa Pušćine, koji nakon vala, koji se pojavio u studenom 2012. godine i koji je ujedno i najveći dosada zabilježeni val, nije zadovoljio uvjete stabilnosti i uporabivosti. Rekonstrukciji nasipa se pristupilo na način da su izvršeni geotehnički istražni radovi, kojim su utvrdili da se više od 50 % trase nasipa nalazi prašinastom pijesku koji je potencijalno likvefabilan. Uzimanjem u obzir svih karakteristika materijala temeljnog tla i postojećeg nasipa odlučeno je podizanje razine krune na visinu koja je za 0,5 m viša od razine mjerodavne velike vode. Također zbog velikog potencijala likvefakcije temeljnog tla, odlučeno je da će se izvršiti zamjena temeljnog tla mješavinom od postojećeg temeljnog tla s dobro graduiranim šljunkom do dubine od 2 m. Provedene analize stabilnosti i procjeđivanja te naponsko deformacijske analize dokazale su da rekonstrukcija nasipa zadovoljava uvjete stabilnosti i uporabivosti.
Abstract (english)
Topic of this thesis is the reconstruction of the left-bank embankment of Pušćine, which after the largest wave recorded so far in November 2012, did not meet the conditions of stability and usability. After geotechnical investigation, it is established that more than 50% of the embankment is located on silty sand with very large liquefaction potential. Taking into account all the characteristics of the material of the foundation soil and the existing embankment, it was decided to raise the level of the crown to a height that is 0,5 m higher than the level of the relevant high water. Due to the high potential of liquefaction, it is decided to replace the silty sand foundation soil with a mixture of foundation soil and well graded gravel to a depth of 2 m. Conducted stability, seepage, and stress – strain analyses, proved that the embankment reconstruction meets the conditions of stability and usability.
