Abstract
U današnje vrijeme građevinski zahvati i inženjerski zahtjevi postaju sve kompleksniji. Posebnu pažnju potrebno je posvetiti temeljenju građevine na temeljnom tlu u vidu nosivosti tla i njegovog slijeganja. Kako bi se osigurala stabilnost i pouzdanost građevina u nepovoljnim uvjetima tla, izvode se razne mjere poboljšanja temeljne konstrukcije ili poboljšanja karakteristika tla. Jedna od tih mjera je ojačanje tla ekspanzivnim smolama gdje se iskorištava svojstvo smole, da nakon što se injektira u tlo, smola počinje bubriti u svim smjerovima stvarajući bolju povezanost tla i povećavajući njegovu otpornost. Ovaj diplomski rad obuhvatit će opis utjecaja ekspanzivnih smola na karakteristike tla kroz teorijsku pozadinu i primjere uspješne primjene uz naglasak na jedan konkretan projekt ojačanja temeljnog tla za potrebe temeljenja malih hidroelektrana.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, construction procedures and engineering requirements are becoming more and more complex. Special attention must be paid to the foundation of the building on the foundation soil in terms of the soil's bearing capacity and its settlement. In order to ensure the stability and reliability of buildings in unfavorable soil conditions, various measures are taken to improve the foundation structure or improve soil characteristics. One of these measures is strengthening the soil with expansive resins, where the property of the resin is exploited, that after it is injected into the soil, the resin starts to swell in all directions, creating a better connection of the soil and increasing its resistance. This graduate thesis will include a description of the impact of expansive resins on soil characteristics through the theoretical background and examples of successful application with an emphasis on a specific project to strengthen the foundation soil for the needs of small hydropower plants.
