Abstract
Novija istraživanja ukazuju na mogućnost primjene dodataka za smanjenu propusnost betona u svrhu produljenja uporabnog vijeka. U kontaktu s vodom, opisani dodatci izgrađuju kristale kojima se popunjavanju pore i pukotine unutar betona. U sklopu završnog rada obrađene su mogućnosti primjene ove vrste dodataka, te opisan mehanizam djelovanja kristalizirajućim dodacima. U sklopu eksperimentalnog rada pripremljene su tri mješavine morta: a) bez kristalizirajućeg dodataka (mc= 370 kg/m3), b) s kristalizirajućim dodatkom (mc= 370 kg/m3), c) s kristalizirajućim dodatkom (mc= 320 kg/m3). Ispitana su svojstva morta u svježem stanju (konzistencija, gustoća, sadržaj zraka), te svojstva u očvrsnulom stanju (tlačna čvrstoća, difuzija klorida i vodonepropusnost). Rezultati ispitivanja ne potvrđuju pozitivan utjecaj kristalizirajućim dodacima na svojstva betona, ali se za zaključak preporučuje provesti daljnja istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
More recent studies indicate the positive influence of permeability reducing admixtures for the extension of concrete service life. Described admixtures, when exposed to the water form crystals in pores and cracks present in concrete. This bachelor thesis discusses the applicability of such admixtures in concrete industry and elaborates more deeply the mechanism of crystallization. Experimental work included preparation of 3 mortar mixes: a) without crystallizing additive (mc = 370 kg/m3), b) with crystallizing additive (mc = 370 kg/m3), c) with crystallizing additive (mc = 320 kg/m3). The properties of the mortar in the fresh (consistency, density, air content) and the hardened state (compressive strength, chloride diffusion and water permeability) were tested. The test results do not confirm the positive impact of crystallizing admixtures on the durability properties of concrete, but further research is needed.
