Abstract
Nasuta brana građena je u svrhu zaštite od poplave naročito ugroženog naselja Đurmanec, poljoprivrednih površina i prometnica, te područja uz Krapinicu nizvodno od Đurmanca i grada Krapine. Projektnim rješenjem predviđena je izvedba brane od krupnozrnog nasipnog materijala s mlazno injektiranom zavjesom i nepropusnom geomembranom na uzvodnoj strani brane. U ovom diplomskom radu provedena je usporedba projektnog rješenja s alternativnim rješenjem kojeg čini zonirana brane s glinenom jezgrom i potpornim zonama od kamenog materijala. U svrhu usporedbe rješenja provedene su odgovarajuće geotehničke analize (analize procjeđivanja za očekivane najviše vodostaje, odgovarajuće potvrde stabilnosti brane i podloge, kao i procjena deformacija brane), te usporedbe bitnih projektnih veličina za oba karakteristična presjeka.
Abstract (english)
The earth dam Smiljanova graba was built for the purpose of flood protection. It protects the exceptionally endangered town of Đurmanec, farm lands, transportation facilities and the area near Krapinica downstream of the cities Đurmanec and Krapina. The design solution includes the building of a dam comprised of coarse grained soil with a grout curtain and a watertight geomembrane. In this Masters thesis the comparison between the design solution and an alternative solution - a zoned dam with a clay core and rockfill retaining zones . For the purpose of comparing the two alternative solutions seepage analyses (for the expected highest water levels), appropriate dam and foundation stability confirmations, and dam deformation estimates were conducted, as well as comparisons of all important design parameters for both characteristic cross-sections.
