Abstract
U radu je analizirano područje primjene celuloze i njezinih nanokristala kao novog materijala u građevinarstvu. Prikazan je proces ekstrakcije nanokristala iz celuloze te je posebna pozornost posvećena utjecaju nanokristala na svojstva betona kao i dodatku u izolaciji objekata. Iznesene su prednosti korištenja celuloze u vidu ekološke održivosti, kao i poboljšanja mehaničkih svojstava materijala. Također, jedna od tema obrađenih u radu je budućnost korištenja nanokristala celuloze, kao i drugih prirodnih materijala u građevinarstvu.
Abstract (english)
This report analyzes the field of application of cellulose and its nanocrystals as a new material in construction. The process of extraction of nanocrystals from cellulose is presented and special attention is paid to the influence of nanocrystals on the properties of concrete as well as the addition in the insulation of buildings. The advantages of using cellulose in the form of environmental sustainability, as well as improving the mechanical properties of the material are presented. Also, one of the topics covered in the report is the future of the use of cellulose nanocrystals, as well as other natural materials in construction.
