Abstract
U ovom radu promatrano je gibanje fizikalnog njihala kroz tri različita primjera. U prvom primjeru analizirano je gibanje običnog njihala dok je u sljedeća dva primjera to isto njihalo pridržano oprugom jednake krutosti, postavljene najprije vertikalno a zatim i horizontalno Uz pomoć Newton-Eulerovih jednadžbi dobivene su diferencijalne jednadžbe gibanja te su za svaku od njih pronađena analitička rješenja, koja su za zadane početne uvijete prikazana tablično i grafički. Na temelju izvedenih jednadžbi usporedili smo ponašanje fizikalnog njihala u sve tri situacije. Na kraju rada dan je primjer konstrukcije koja njihalo uz dodatak prigušivača koristi za sprječavanje prevelikih deformacija do kojih dolazi prilikom značajnih dinamičkih pobuda u prirodi, primjerice pojave potresa i snažnog vjetra.
Abstract (english)
In this assignment, the behavior of a physical pendulum is observed via three different examples. In the first example, the motion of pendulum was analyzed, while in the next two examples the same pendulum was attached to a spring of equal stiffness, placed either vertically or horizontally. By means of Newton-Euler equations, differential equations of motion were derived and analytical solutions were obtained for each of them. These analytical solutions are presented in form of tables and graphs for a given set of initial conditions. Based on the derived equations, we compared the behavior of the physical pendulum in all three situations. At the end of the assignment, an example of a structure that uses a pendulum with the addition of a damper to prevent excessive deformations that occur during significant dynamic excitations in nature, such as earthquakes and strong winds, is given.
