Abstract Za potrebe izgradnje građevine za smještaj sezonskih radnika u naselju Novi Resort (Zagori), zbog morfologije terena, bilo je potrebno izvesti građevnu jamu, tj. ukopati dio građevine. Zasijecanjem stijenske mase izvedeni su gotovo vertikalno zasječeni pokosi najviše visine 12 m. Predmetne pokose sjever i zapad potrebno je dodatno zaštititi te osigurati njihovu stabilnost odgovarajućim mjerama. U ovome radu opisana je izvedba i zaštita predmetnog sjevernog pokosa kombinacijom stijenskih sidara i mlaznog betona. Za sjeverni su pokos, uporabom računalnih programa Slide i RS2 (Rocscience Inc.), provedene analize stabilnosti i analize naprezanja i deformacija te je na temelju dobivenih rezultata predloženo i opisano izvođenje odgovarajućih mjera sanacije. Za provođenje navedenih analiza nužno je poznavanje i određivanje geoloških i geotehničkih značajki stijenske mase, kao i poznavanje njezinih mehaničkih svojstava poput čvrstoće i deformabilnosti te kriterija po kojim se ona određuju. Ulazni parametri za proračun određeni su na temelju provedenih istražnih radova predmetne lokacije te opisivanjem stijenske mase temeljenom na njezinoj geomehaničkoj klasifikaciji, a njihove su vrijednosti dobivene primjenom Hoek – Brownovog kriterija čvrstoće. Poznavanje osnovnih značajki i karakteristika stijenske mase omogućuje i odabir odgovarajućeg podgradnog sustava za stabilizaciju stijenskog pokosa, a na odabir također utječe i geometrija i dimenzije pokosa kao i uvjeti lokacije na kojoj se pokos izvodi. Izvođenje radova i ugradnja elemenata stabilizacije zahtijeva posebne tehničke uvjete te kontrolu i osiguranje kvalitete koji su također opisani u radu.
Abstract (english) For constructing a building to accomodate seasonal workers in the settlement of Novi Rezort (Zagori), due to the morphology of the terrain, it was necessary to dig the excavation pit. By cutting the rock mass, almost vertically cut slopes of maximum height of 12 m were made. The slopes need to be additionally protected and stability ensured by appropriate mesures. This paper describes the construction and protection of the northern slope with combination of anchors and shotcrete. For the northern slope, using computer programs Slide i RS2 (Rocscience Inc.), stability analyzes and stress and strain analiyzes were performed. Based on the obtained results the implementation of appropriate remeditation measures was proposed and described. To conduct these analyzes, it is necessary to know and determine the geological and geotechnical characteristics of the rock mass, as well as knowledge of its mechanical properties such as strength and deformability and the criteria by which they are determined. The input parameters for the calculation were determined on the basis of the conducted research works of the subject location and the description of the rock mass based on its geomechanical classification. Values of the input parameters were obtained by applying the Hoek - Brown strength criterion. Knowledge of the basic characteristics of the rock mass enables the selection of an appropriate support system for stabilization of rock slope, and the selection is also influenced by the geometry and dimensions of the slope as well as the conditions of the location where the slope is performed. Execution of works and installation of stabilization elements requires special technical conditions and quality control and assurance, which are also described in the paper.
