Abstract
Djelovanje dinamičke pobude poput potresa na konstrukciju ponajviše ovisi o karakteristikama konstrukcije kao što su masa, krutost i koeficijent prigušenja. Eksperimentalnim ispitivanjem promatrano je ponašanje jednokatnog modela konstrukcije bez i s dodanim dijagonalnim vlačnim elementima, s ciljem utvrđivanja njihove učinkovitosti pri odgovoru konstrukcije na dinamičku pobudu. Detaljno su opisane karakteristike modela te isplanirani i provedeni eksperimenti u Laboratoriju za konstrukcije Građevinskog fakulteta u Rijeci. Uz pomoć potresne ploče Quanser STI-III i sustava kamera za optičko mjerenje izmjereni su pomaci točaka na bazi i etaži modela podvrgnutog različitim pobudama podloge. Usporedbom izmjerenih pomaka utvrđeni su učinci dijagonalnog elementa te njegova korisnost u modelu. Na temelju rezultata, na kraju je predložen daljnji nastavak istraživanja te moguće metoda proračuna.
Abstract (english)
The effect of a dynamic excitation, such as an earthquake, on a structure mostly depends on the characteristics of the structure such as mass, stiffness, and damping coefficient. The behavior of a single-story frame without and with added diagonal tensile elements was observed by experimental testing to determine their efficiency in the dynamic response of the structure. The characteristics of the model are described in detail and experiments are planned and carried out in the Laboratory for Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Rijeka. With the help of the Quanser STI-III shaking table and the system of cameras for optical measurement, the displacements of the points on the base and floor of the model subjected to different base excitations were measured. The effects of the diagonal element and its utility in the model were determined by comparing the measured displacements. Based on the results, a further research plan and possible calculation methods were finally proposed.
