takvih projekata i kako ustvari nismo dovoljno informirani o projektiranom ozelenjivanju
gradova i građevina.
vrtova.
do kompleksnih i gotovo savršenih rješenja spoja moderne arhitekture i prirode.
Rad se završava zaključkom i navodi se korištena literatura.
Abstract (english) During a group assignment in the course “Osnove projektiranja II” where the topic was to design
a plot whose main predisposition will be urban gardens, I concluded that there are not many
projects in Croatia similar to this one and that we are not sufficiently informed about the
planning green cities and buildings.
This final paper presents the negative consequences of urbanization and industrialization, due
to which cities become a "jungle of concrete". To introduce possible solutions, the concepts of
urban agriculture and sustainability are clarified and result from the combination of these two
concepts is explained. In the continuation of the work, options are offered on how to positively
act on the world as an environmentally conscious designer. Topic “urban gardens” has been
covered, and various branches of gardening have been mentioned, and the condition of urban
gardens in Croatia has also been analysed because although there are some, they have mostly
been replaced by parks. Furthermore, the topics of vertical and roof gardens are covered, which
is even less represented in Croatia than the previous ones. The history and evolution of vertical
gardens are discussed, with the mention of the inevitable Patrick Blanc and also, the technical
part and maintenance of the roof garden system. The last type of landscaping is explained in the
chapter on vertical forests. Information about the initiator of vertical forests, architect Stefan
Boeri, is given, and also his finished projects and those under construction are listed and
processed.
In this paper, it is gradually graded from simpler solutions for greening urban areas to complex
and almost perfect solutions combining modern architecture and nature.
The paper ends with conclusion, and the literature that has been used is listed.
