Abstract
Ovim diplomskim radom prezentiran je plan rekonstrukcije luke u Mrtvom kanalu u Rijeci u svrhu revitalizacije. U prvom dijelu rada opisani su Rječina i Mrtvi kanal kroz povijest, njihova uloga u razvoju grada te veliko čišćenje kanala. Zatim su ukratko opisani neki od podzemnih potoka koji imaju ušće u Mrtvi kanal te kvaliteta vode u potocima i kanalu. Nakon pregleda postojećeg stanja i primjera luke u kanalu u Italiji, dana su rješenja u četiri varijante. Njima su predstavljene mogućnosti raspodijele vezova u kanalu, izvedba spoja Mrtvog kanala i Rječine te spoja kanala direktno s morem.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis presents a plan for reconstruction of port in Mrtvi kanal in Rijeka in purpose of revitalization. The first parto f the paper describes the Rječina and Mrtvi kanal through history, hheir role in the development of the city and the big cleaning of the canal. Afterwards, some of the underground strems that flow into the Mrtvi kanal and the water quality in the streams and canal are briefly described. After reviewing the current situation and example of the port in canal in Italy, solutions are given in four variants. They present the possibilities of distribution of berths in the canal, the construction of the junction of Mrtvi kanal and Rječina and the connection of the canal directly with the sea.
