Abstract
Odlaganje otpada u mora i oceane postaje sve veći ekološki problem današnjice. Otpad možemo pronaći u svim morima i oceanima. Ljudi stvaraju znatne količine otpada i globalne količine neprestano rastu. Većina otpada u mora i oceane dolazi sa kopna zbog lošeg gospodarenja otpadom. Također otpad ima značajne posljedice na ljude, ali i na biljni i životinjski svijet. U ovom radu će se prikazati podjela otpada na biorazgradivi i bioneradgradivi otpad, kakvi su učinci morskog otpada i kako otpad završava u morima i oceanima te kakvo je stanje otpada u Jadranskom moru.
Abstract (english)
Disposal of waste in the seas and oceans is becoming an increasingly important environmental problem today. We can find waste in all seas and oceans. Humans generate significant amounts of waste and the global amounts are constantly increasing. Most of the waste in seas and oceans comes from land due to poor waste management. Waste also has significant consequences for people, but also flora and fauna. This thesis will show the division of waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste, what are the effects of marine waste and how waste ends up in the seas and oceans, and what is the state of waste in the Adriatic Sea.
